- Operation Patriot was founded by Mark J Rossney on September 14th, 2001.
- Operation Patriot's first fundraiser was on September 23, 2001, just 12 days after the terrorist attacks on our country.
- Operation Patriot was organized as a "thank you" for those who protect us.
- Operation Patriot Foundation, Inc. was formed in August 2006 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
- Operation Patriot Foundation, Inc. is a grass-roots organization, comprised of volunteers from fire departments, police departments, military veterans and local professionals.

Our Mission:
The mission of Operation Patriot Foundation, Inc., is to pay tribute to those who protect us daily - fire fighters, law enforcement, emergency responders and our active and veteran military forces, and to raise money for organizations representing these men and women who protect us.
Our intentions are simple. To pay tribute to and help those who risk their lives for us daily and provide support to these people and their families through fund raising and ceremony in their honor.
